Position Title:Fieldhouse Supervisor Community Hours
Hourly Rate:$13.00/hour
Location:Portage High School Fieldhouse
Reports To:Director of Maintenance Principal
Position Summary:
Portage Township Schools is seeking a reliable and community-oriented individual to serve as theFieldhouse Supervisorduring designated evening community hours. This is an excellent opportunity for a current PTS employee who is looking to engage with the public promote wellness and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents using the facility.
Schedule:
Season:October 1 through the third week of May
Days/Times:Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 6:00 PM 7:30 PM
Note: Schedule may vary slightly based on building use or weather.
Responsibilities:
Open and close the Fieldhouse facility at designated times
Greet and monitor community members using the space
Ensure a safe and respectful environment for all participants
Enforce district guidelines and policies related to community use
Complete any required logs reports or incident forms
Communicate any concerns damage or misuse to the appropriate personnel
Qualifications:
Must be a current Portage Township Schools employee in good standing
Reliable punctual and able to manage responsibilities independently
Comfortable interacting with community members of all ages
Ability to remain calm and professional in a supervisory setting
