ThisHuman Resources Technician II assists the Division HR Manager in the daily administration of Human Resources activities for the Divisions of Coastal Management and the Division of Marine Fisheries. Primary job functions include but are not limited to:

The Division of Marine Fisheries:
The North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries (DMF) is responsible for the stewardship of the states marine and estuarine resources. The DMFs jurisdiction encompasses all coastal waters and extends to 3 miles offshore. Agency policies are established by the nine-member Marine Fisheries Commission and the Secretary of the Department of Environmental Quality. North Carolina is a member of the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council and the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council. The Division of Coastal Management:
The Division of Coastal Management works to protect conserve and manage North Carolinas coastal resources through an integrated program of planning permitting education and research. DCM carries out the states Coastal Area Management Act the Dredge and Fill Law and the federal Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972 in the 20 coastal counties using rules and policies of the N.C. Associates degree typically in Human Resources or relevant field from an appropriately accredited institution and 1 year of experience required; or 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
