Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst Canadian Payroll HTR!

In this role Drives key outcomes in achieving payroll administration for Canada. Drives the successful administration of outsourced payroll for Canadian associates

Responsibilities Ensures data/time uploads are conducted in a timely and accurate manner Runs and analyzes biweekly pay reports and address variances Manages payroll process to ensure payroll is processed timely on processing day Provides compensation analysis for T4s R1 and T2200. Analyzes and works with vendor on T4 corrections and amendments Manages direct deposit tax forms and additional compensation entries Manages off-cycle payroll requests Manages quarterly tax filings and year end processing Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing Partnering with Total Rewards for LoA management and RoE processing Ensures compliance with all audits compliance SOX and general financial controls Assist as needed with project related duties Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Four-year degree BA/BS in Business HR or Accounting Ability to speak write and read French Canadian Payroll experience; strongly prefer experience in SAP and interfaces with external Payroll vendors Knowledge of Canadian payroll practices and principles Understanding of current Canadian payroll regulations particularly in Quebec

Experience processing T4s R1s ROEs and T2200 forms Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information Ability to perform work with accuracy and attention to detail Strong mathematical skills with ability to research analyze and correct time and payroll data Ability to communicate in a precise and clear manner Strong interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal/external contacts Prior HR experience; Generalist experience a plus Experience working in mid/large complex environment Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel and Word including advanced proficiency; enterprise HRIS (preferably SAP) with interface to external payroll vendor

Mastery skills in system proficiency employee data management reporting and metrics Proficient skills in project management Proficient skills in vendor management Extremely detail-orientated and accurate Proven relationship building and conflict resolution skills
