Clinical Fellow Early Intervention

Location: New Jersey

Pay $70 per hour

Position Overview

As a Clinical Fellow at TheraCare you will provide early intervention services to children from birth to 3 years old. You will work under the supervision of an ASHA-certified and state-licensed Speech Language Pathologist to deliver screenings on-going assessments and treatment in home and community settings. This opportunity is designed to support your professional development and prepare you for ASHA certification and state licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

Screen assess and provide treatment to children ages birth to 3 with communication delays.

Deliver services in homes daycares or community settings in alignment with Early Intervention Program guidelines.

Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation.

Collaborate with families supervisors and interdisciplinary teams to support child development.

Participate in feedback sessions/meeting with Clinical Fellow supervisor

Attending professional development trainings presentations and webinars for indirect service hours requirement.

Utilize paperless mobile systems for notes and billing submissions.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Eligible for Clinical Fellowship in the state of New Jersey.

Commitment to Early Intervention and working with young children and families.

Strong interpersonal communication and time management skills.

Willingness to travel within the New Jersey area.

Physical Requirements:

Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device smart phone computer).

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

*Rates are determined based on a combination of factors such as experience level assignment location service setting and applicable program guidelines.
