Upper School Assistant Coach- Coed Cross Country
About Us:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Cross CountryCoach to help lead our girls team and cultivate an environment that prioritizes mentorship mental well-being and personal development alongside competitive success. The ideal candidate will have experience working with female student-athletes and a deep understanding of the unique challenges they face in sports. This position is seasonal and will run August through November. This is a stipend position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the head coach to create and implement training programs that support both athletic development and the holistic well-being of student-athletes.
- Foster a safe inclusive and empowering team culture emphasizing mental resilience leadership and confidence-building.
- Serve as a mentor and advocate for female student-athletes providing guidance on navigating challenges in sports and beyond.
- Work collaboratively with athletic staff school administrators and families to support the needs of student-athletes.
- Ensure adherence to school policies safety guidelines and league regulations.
Qualifications:
- Prior coaching experience preferably with female student-athletes in a school or club setting.
- A commitment to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of student-athletes.
- Ability to serve as a strong role model and mentor for young female athletes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coaching at the high school/clublevel.
- Background in sports psychology mental health advocacy or leadership development for student-athletes.
