Manager Intelligent Automation

About the Role

The Automation Manager will be an essential member of the Intelligent Automation (IA) team responsible for designing and implementing automated processes within the Citco Group. The Manager will collaborate with process owners and business unit representatives to optimize and digitize operational processes thereby enhancing efficiency and achieving tangible results for Citco.

About Intelligent Automation Team

Intelligent Automation (IA) is a multidisciplinary team responsible for identifying developing and deploying operational solutions utilizing a range of emerging technologies. These technologies include Artificial Intelligence Robotic Process Automation Test Automation Business Process Management APIs and Cloud Services.

Responsibilities:

• Own execution of multiple concurrent projects end to end
• Maintain project reporting and project plans used for senior management reporting
• Manage Working Group meetings for all assigned projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create new initiatives and refine existing processes that drive efficiencies
• Create or review business requirements user stories acceptance criteria and software documentation
• Assess business processes for transformation and/or automation
• Lead discussions with stakeholders to brainstorm solutions and assess feasibility
• Own and review solution design documents clearly articulating as-is and to-be states
• Document and communicate business outcomes and gains from proposed solutions
• Perform or review all aspects of the project life cycle including but not limited to: scoping analyzing developing solutions reviewing deliverables from executing to implementing change
• Ensure automation testing standards are implemented and adhered to
• Work with stakeholders to rollout solutions to target teams/offices
• Lead Scrum stand-ups backlog grooming sessions review and retrospective meetings
• Ensure takeaways from retrospectives are implemented
• Ensure best practice/Industry standards (set by Citco) are being followed while designing solutions
• Perform detailed risk analysis reporting and escalate in a timely manner to senior management
• Coach and develop staff to perform successfully in their current roles and develop them into management positions

Qualifications:

• Overall 10 years of experience with 3-5 years of managing a team of developers BAs test engineers and project managers
• Possess strategic mindset and find motivation in creatively solving problems
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage competing priorities
• Undergrad degree in Finance Accounting Economics Mathematics Computer Science Information Systems or related fields
• Exceptional communications skills both written and oral and the ability to capture a diverse audience
• Confident leading code reviews design sessions and reviewing technical documentation
• Practical application of driving efficiencies through task automation
• Assets:
  • Expertise in UiPath and other automations tools such as Blueprism/Automation Anywhere
  • Experience working with cloud services like AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
  • Certification in Project Management
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence to manage projects
