About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our Wiley Tax team. This role will focus on Corporate Income Tax compliance and planning with experience in U.S. international tax provisions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with other tax professionals and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting compliance and strategic alignment with global tax planning initiatives.
How you will make an impact:
- Managing global tax compliance and advising on cross-border tax impacts across our international operations.
- Prepare and review Federal and State corporate income tax returns and related filings.
- Assist in the preparation of the U.S. tax provision and support global tax provision processes including ASC 740 FIN 48 SOX and FAS 123R compliance.
- Support corporate federal income tax audits and lead state and local tax audits.
- Conduct research and calculations related to tax credits and Section 174 expenditures.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the companys worldwide tax strategies.
- Integrate tax compliance processes for acquired or divested entities.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax provisions and filings.
- Meet annual tax objectives and compliance milestones.
- Leverage tax technology tools (e.g. OneSource) to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay current with evolving tax laws regulations and best practices.
What we look for:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field; CPA or MST preferred.
- 6 years of relevant corporate tax experience preferably in a large corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state corporate income tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with tax provision software and ERP systems; OneSource experience is a plus.
- Strong technical background in U.S. international tax provisions including GILTI FDII foreign tax credits (FTCs) and Section 163(j).
- Deep knowledge of BEAT APB 23 assertions and Pillar Two developments including foreign tax credit implications and country-by-country reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range:

The range below represents Wileys good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the UK Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies.
