An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Roads Policing Prosecutions Support Officer. Working in a team you will support the processing of road traffic offences issued by Essex Police carrying out the following functions:
This unique opportunity provides a role which will present many different challenges each day where you will be required to demonstrate flexibility and a passion to place victims and road safety at the heart of service delivery. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in reducing road casualties on our roads detecting road crime and supporting officers on the front line.

Essex Police offer agile working which designates that certain roles can offer flexibility in terms of place of work including some home working. There will be a requirement to regularly attend the contractual workplace as agreed with the line manager. Flexible working applications are welcomed and we look to be supportive of individuals needs. The specific requirements of this role will be discussed during the interview stages with candidates. The extent of flexibility will be agreed through individual assessment with the line manager to assess operational requirements and individuals suitability for home working. During the interview there will be prosecution-based scenarios to answer.
Whilst the current working location is Billericay the team will be relocating to Basildon in due course.
