Who are we looking for

We are seeking a Global Alumni Coordinator to join our Global Media and Communications Centre of Excellence.

This role is responsible for three key facets of GHDs community engagement and impact including both external and internal communication and marketing needs for the following:

  • GHD Global Alumni Community
  • GHD Foundation
  • GHD In the Community

This is a permanent part time position 4 days per week.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you:

  • Develop and execute communication and marketing strategies to cultivate and enhance relationships within the alumni community fostering engagement building advocacy good will loyalty and support the GHD strategy
  • Strategic planning and stakeholder management through internal and external collaboration
  • Database management
  • Develop marketing and communications material for multiple audiences to increase awareness of the programs
  • Strategic input into raising awareness both externally and internally of the programs allowing those who would like to volunteer and help create lasting community benefit.
  • Provide important inputs for the GHD Annual Report and Sustainability reports
  • Working with our senior internal stakeholders and to lead and coordinate meetings advisory groups and alumni webinars as required
  • Work autonomously to actively explore innovation seek improvement opportunities address critical needs in a timely manner that meets all stakeholder needs
  • Producing professional and high-quality written reports communication and presentations as required

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications Marketing Business or a related discipline complemented by 4 years of experience in strategic program leadership stakeholder engagement and global communications.
  • Proven track record in designing and managing enterprise-level programs with advanced knowledge of database governance segmentation strategies and CRM integration.
  • Experience in digital communication ecosystems and virtual collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams Viva Engage On24 and other engagement tools.
  • Skilled in marketing automation and CRM platforms such as MCAE/Pardot and Salesforce with working knowledge of SharePoint for content management and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into strategic actions leveraging analytics to inform decision-making and optimize program performance.
