Corporate & Institutional Banking Development Program Analyst/Associate Capital Markets

The goal of PNCs Development Programs is to move analysts and associates from development roles into production roles in one of PNCs lines of business.
Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) offers strategic insight and financial solutions for businesses organizations municipalities and nonprofits throughout the United States and internationally. The Capital Markets track provides a broad exposure to various business units within C&IB structured development on-the-job and formal classroom learning including an intensive 8-week credit training program designed to establish PNCs core competencies. Analysts possess strong problem-solving ability interest in mastering complex products a strong work ethic and a highly competitive nature.
The Capital Markets track includes the following business segments:
Asset & Liability Management segments: Chief Investment Office - Portfolio Management and Hedging and Corporate Treasury
Capital Markets Group segments: Chief Operating Office/Strategy Derivative Products Group Financial Institutions Group (Domestic & International Banks) Fixed Income Foreign Exchange and Structured Products Group
Investment Banking Analyst: Asset Backed Finance Debt Capital Markets and Public Finance Capital Markets
The Capital Markets track is an engaging 2-3 year experience especially designed to equip you with the foundational and transferable skills that will enable you to navigate a successful career in banking. Capital Markets analysts master PNCs product set to excel in analytics credit relationship management sales and financial modeling.
Geographic flexibility is important to your success inthisprogram. Locations may include: Chicago IL; Charlotte NC; Cleveland OH; Houston TX; Los Angeles CA; New York NY; Philadelphia PA; and Pittsburgh PA. Not allsegmentsare available in all locations.

Participates as an analyst/associate in the line of business development program.
Performs or assists the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g. deal sales or process support internal or external customer interaction or supporting internal projects). Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.
Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g. identifies and networks with business representatives and peers participates in mentoring job shadowing and community outreach).
Participates in formal learning (e.g. classroom web-based or virtual) and completes related activities and projects.
Supports the internal and external customer experience by providing excellent service at all times; takes accountability and ensures problem resolution.
Required Education and Experience:
Preferred business relevant majors (e.g. Finance Accounting IT Economics Marketing Math Statistics HR Management Communications Business Law Psychology Logistics Engineering Computer Science Actuarial Sciences).
Minimum GPA 3.2.
Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills. Includes individuals joining the organization through a corporate development/training program.
