Non Ferrous Foundry Worker- 1st Shift- DIRECT HIRE


The JobSquad Solutions is currently looking for a Non-Ferrous Foundry Worker to work at a company located in the Wyoming MI area!


Join our world-class Non-Ferrous Foundry team where we pride ourselves on innovation and excellence in the manufacturing sector. Located in Wyoming MI we specialize in high-quality die-casting and are currently seeking a skilled Foundry - Die Cast Pour Operator to become an integral part of our operation.


This is a 1st shift Direct Hire position with competitive wages at $21- $22/hr. and outstanding benefits including: health dental and short-term disability insurance; profit sharing and 401k plans; an employee assistance program; and paid vacation.


Hours: 6am to 4 pm Monday through Friday



  • Must have foundry experience.
  • Must have forklift experience.


Major Responsibilities of Position:

  • Every employee has a responsibility to comply with all safety rules quality procedures and processes established.
  • Work collaboratively with Foundry Die Cast Operators to ensure skill development.
  • Develop Die Cast skills that enable the employee to operate a Die Cast Machines
    • Maintain tools and cell area in a safe proper and clean condition.
    • Set up and operate the die cast machine and related equipment in an efficient and proper manner.
    • Drossing
    • Load ingots on conveyor.
    • Ensure all material coming in/out of cell are labeled and recorded properly.
    • Independently troubleshoot equipment or quality problems produced by the machine.
  • Assist maintenance tool room and engineering personnel in the repair and continuous improvement activities.
    • Meet customer production schedules.
    • Achieve and maintain uptime targets.
    • Achieve and maintain acceptable scrap levels.
    • Maintain good communications with peers function leaders and managers.
    • Work in cooperation with other departments to achieve business objectives.
    • Monitor and control the quality and process of the parts produced.
  • Passed authorized level of training and practical test of lockout.
  • Expand Die Cast skill to include multiple machines.
  • Backfill Die Cast Operator positions as available.
  • Work within the MIOSHA company rules and regulations.

  • Must have regular and punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to follow directions of a supervisor.
  • Must be cooperative with other employees.
  • Must be quality conscious with an emphasis on operating to the Work Instruction.
  • Be familiar with hydraulics and pneumatics or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing effectively.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate educate and coach new team members.
  • Fluent in English.
