Primary Responsibilities:
- Works with clients to define system requirements (e.g. number of cameras access points alarm zones).
- Site Assessments: Coordinates or conducts site surveys to determine installation logistics.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Selects and manages subcontractors (e.g. electricians cabling teams).
- Permitting & Compliance: Ensures compliance with local codes regulations and industry standards (e.g. NEC NFPA).
- Scheduling: Develops and maintains the project timeline including equipment delivery and technician availability.
- Client Communication: Acts as the main liaison with the client providing updates and managing expectations.
- Risk Management: Identifies risks such as delays in permitting equipment shortages or access issues and mitigates them.
- Manage RFIs submittals contracts change order requests subcontractor change orders etc.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and leads direct reports to ensure client satisfaction
Basic Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment
- 3-5 years experience in the low voltage industry project management
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Proven experience in low voltage systems or related fields such as CCTV access control fire alarm nurse call and security
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
