Job Description

The Vice President Technology serves as a strategic leader responsible for evaluating current technologies and processes advising executive leadership on forward-looking solutions that preserve the organizations competitive edge. This role oversees all IS/IT functions and ensures optimal platform usage across both member-facing and internal systems-including core banking digital platforms loan and mortgage systems credit card platforms CRM and data warehousing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic planning for cybersecurity initiatives and technology solutions that elevate the member experience and drive operational excellence.
  • Direct the short- and long-term execution of the organizations tech vision spanning infrastructure disaster recovery vendor management and network security.
  • Oversee planning and implementation for networks telecommunications hardware and enterprise software ensuring systems meet capacity and performance standards.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technology software and services to enhance efficiency while minimizing cost. Manage vendor relationships and technology projects.
  • Shape and guide data analytics strategies and data warehouse operations to support business growth and evolving objectives.
  • Develop and monitor departmental budget ensuring strategic allocation of resources for maximum effectiveness.
  • Maintain and execute robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans including regular testing and reporting.
  • Stay informed on regulatory and IT industry developments ensuring compliance and recommending necessary changes to maintain competitiveness.
  • Manage and mentor departmental leaders ensuring consistent development engagement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Support service excellence by maintaining systems uptime facilitating training and overseeing technical support across all business units.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal state and local regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of eight years of progressive experience in related technology roles.
  • Masters degree preferred; bachelors degree and relevant professional certifications required.
