Job Description
This 12-week contract position requires a Cath Lab Technician with a minimum of two years of experience in a Cath Lab setting. The technician will provide patient care for a variety of cardiac procedures and diagnoses utilizing specialized equipment and techniques. ACLS and BCLS certifications are required. Previous Providence-affiliated employees must have been separated from the health system for at least three months to qualify.
- Administering procedural sedation.
- Managing blood and blood product administration.
- Performing cardioversion and defibrillation.
- Sheath removal.
- Managing PICC/central lines Port-A-Cath and other vascular devices.
- Performing biopsies (GI/GU/Renal Peripheral Vascular).
- Circulating scrubbing and recording during procedures.
- Providing patient care for acute MI interventional procedures and pre/post-procedural care.
- ACLS certification.
- BCLS certification.
- Ability to float to other facilities.

- Must be open to floating between facilities.
- Previous Providence-affiliated employees must have a minimum three-month separation from the health system.
