Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the brew pub to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and train staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Develop operational strategies to drive efficiency and profitability across the pub.
- Monitor food and beverage quality ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Create and implement marketing campaigns to boost customer engagement and brand awareness.
- Analyze financial reports manage budgets and optimize costs to increase profitability.
- Foster relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality inventory management.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
- Plan and coordinate special events and promotions to increase foot traffic.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies regarding staff management.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff development and performance improvement.
- Regularly evaluate the performance of the team and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with industry trends to keep the brew pub competitive in the market.
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operation.
- Prepare operational reports for senior management review highlighting key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar managerial role preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and software for inventory management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- A passion for food beverages and customer service.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with clients vendors and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and profitability in a competitive environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
