The Ad Partner Solutions team plays a critical role in fostering relationships with key ad-tech partners enabling advertisers to achieve their goals while driving innovation and growth across the board.

Youll collaborate closely with internal Business Development Sales Product and Technical Operations teams to ensure our ad tech partners are set up for success.

About the role

The Ad Partner Solutions Manager for Mid-Market SSPs will focus on building and growing relationships with long-tail SSPs ensuring they are equipped to succeed in the programmatic advertising space. This role is pivotal in driving deeper integrations scaling SSP businesses and enabling your partners to deliver value to publishers and advertisers alike. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise strategic thinking and a collaborative mindset to help SSPs overcome challenges and achieve sustainable growth.

For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $138000 and $156000 annually.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set certifications and specific geographical location.

What youll be doing

Technical Enablement:

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for mid-market SSPs guiding them through integrations with Rokus tech stack
  • Collaborate with SSP engineering teams to implement OpenRTB updates header bidding optimizations and other advanced integrations
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues ensuring seamless programmatic operations

Strategic Growth:

  • Develop tailored strategies to help SSPs scale their businesses including attracting premium publishers and expanding demand sources
  • Identify opportunities for differentiation such as private marketplaces and unique inventory offerings
  • Facilitate connections between SSPs and premium advertisers to drive incremental revenue

Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor SSP performance including fill rates eCPM and adoption of integrations to ensure alignment with growth objectives
  • Implement automation tools to streamline reporting analytics and bid optimization processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve ad quality controls and reduce invalid traffic (IVT)

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Partner with internal Product Engineering and Business Development teams to prioritize SSP-focused solutions
  • Host quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with SSPs to assess progress share insights and refine strategies
  • Synthesize complex technical matters into actionable business opportunities for diverse audiences

Were excited if you have

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Advertising Business or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical solutions or partner management role within the advertising/media industry
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem including SSPs DSPs DMPs and ad exchanges
  • Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues in an OpenRTB environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decision-making
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively across all levels of an organization
  • Track record of growing revenue-driving relationships with ad-tech partners
  • Self-starter with the drive and adaptability needed to succeed in a competitive market
  • Experience working with premium streaming TV (CTV/OTT) publishers is a plus
