The Job You Will Perform:
- Clearly outline contractorresponsibilities tasks and deliverables.
- Establish performance standards deadlines and how success will be measured.
- Maintain open and frequent communication channels to address issues provide updates and ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Promote a safety-first culture and ensure contractors adhere to site-specific safety protocols and regulations.
- Offer regular feedback on performance both positive and negative to help contractors improve.
- Encourage collaboration between contractors and employees to create a positive and productive work environment.
- Resolve conflicts and disagreements quickly and effectively to minimize disruptions and maintain a positive working relationship.
The Skills You Will Bring:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prefer a minimum of five (5) years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the pulp and paper industry is preferred.
- Planning for and managing Site Contractors
- Detailed knowledge of industrial safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to lead in a high-performance team environment and get work done through others.
- Ability to collaborate with peers and work well work others.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with SAP and all Microsoft Office applications.
- Good decision-making judgement and outstanding interpersonal skills are required.
- High degree of organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skill.
- Working knowledge of equipment trades skills work execution and reporting.
- Proficient in Work Brain and time entry.
