The Job You Will Perform:

  • Clearly outline contractorresponsibilities tasks and deliverables.
  • Establish performance standards deadlines and how success will be measured.
  • Maintain open and frequent communication channels to address issues provide updates and ensure everyone is on the same page.
  • Promote a safety-first culture and ensure contractors adhere to site-specific safety protocols and regulations.
  • Offer regular feedback on performance both positive and negative to help contractors improve.
  • Encourage collaboration between contractors and employees to create a positive and productive work environment.
  • Resolve conflicts and disagreements quickly and effectively to minimize disruptions and maintain a positive working relationship.

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prefer a minimum of five (5) years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the pulp and paper industry is preferred.
  • Planning for and managing Site Contractors
  • Detailed knowledge of industrial safety procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to lead in a high-performance team environment and get work done through others.
  • Ability to collaborate with peers and work well work others.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with SAP and all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good decision-making judgement and outstanding interpersonal skills are required.
  • High degree of organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill.
  • Working knowledge of equipment trades skills work execution and reporting.
  • Proficient in Work Brain and time entry.
