About you

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- 6 years of professional experience in enterprise-grade application development and support with strong expertise in Java (8) Java EE and Spring (prior to 3.0).
- Proven skills in designing and implementing RESTful APIs debugging services and ensuring interoperability across distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with AngularJS/Angular and JavaScript for front-end development in full-stack ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle MySQL) including performance optimization indexing triggers and writing complex SQL queries.
- Proficiency with application servers (JBoss Apache) deployments and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with Groovy for business rule logic and manual mappers for data transformation.
- Strong debugging triage and incident resolution capabilities ensuring high system reliability and uptime.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and New Relic supporting proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Solid foundation in Unix/Linux commands (grep awk sed find chmod tail) for log analysis file management and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to AWS cloud services and Bash scripting for task automation.
- Comfortable working in both modernized and legacy architectures ensuring maintainability and performance.
- Strong communication skills in English able to deliver clear status updates and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with agile development practices CI/CD workflows and collaborative work with QA DevOps and product teams.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain full-stack enterprise solutions leveraging Java EE Angular and Oracle DB.
- Implement and optimize RESTful APIs ensuring security scalability and compatibility across systems.
- Write and fine-tune complex SQL queries for critical data retrieval validation and performance tuning.
- Lead ticket queue triage incident management and outage response ensuring system stability and fast recovery.
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Deploy monitor and troubleshoot applications on JBoss/Apache ensuring performance and reliability.
- Utilize Splunk New Relic and monitoring frameworks to proactively detect issues and optimize system health.
- Apply manual mapping Groovy scripting and data transformation logic in support of business processes.
- Provide mentorship and code reviews promoting high-quality coding standards and knowledge sharing.
- Work effectively with legacy systems while progressively modernizing architectures and workflows.
- Ensure clear documentation transparent communication and consistent collaboration with stakeholders.
- Continuously seek opportunities for automation performance improvement and process optimization across environments.
