Job Description
Are you an experienced Tax Specialist with a desire to impact the world for Jesus
The International Mission Board a nonprofit religious organization in Richmond VA is accepting ongoing applications for a Tax Specialist!
Location:Richmond VA Headquarters
Rate:Commensurate with experience great benefits!
Responsibilities:
Prepare tax returns and maintain knowledge of tax law.
Research and answer questions via e-mail and phone.
Evaluate accuracy of prepared tax returns by internal preparers or external CPAs.
Assist with e-filing returns.
Maintain and archive tax files per IRS.
Prepare In-Plan Roth conversion estimates for field personnel during the fourth quarter of the year.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferred in accounting finance or similar field
At least three years minimum of tax return preparation preferred
Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills is required
Advanced skills MS Office Suite experience is a plus
