This role is focused on our operations. We measure our scope 1 2 and all scope 3 emissions. We also look at both our direct and indirect (supply chain) biodiversity impacts and wider environmental impacts with a focus on Circular Economy (e.g. plastics water etc.).
The Carbon and Sustainability Analyst is a key role within the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability managing the analysis of the Universitys sustainability performance with a focus on the Universitys greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). The role will primarily focus on GHG analysis across scope 1 2 and all scope 3 emissions as well as reporting and visualisation of the addition the role might be required to support reporting and measurement frameworks and analysis for biodiversity impacts and potentially other environmental metrics in relation to e.g. plastics water and circular economy. The position sits within the Sustainability Unit of the Department reporting to the Deputy Director SRS and Head of Sustainability.
