Could you be the full-time Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer in Bucharest were looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside dynamic adaptable and forward-thinking teammates.

Youll perform Verification & Validation activities related to Interlocking & European Train Control Systems (ETCS) for Central and Eastern Europe projects. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers Technical Leads Safety Assurance Installation and Test & Commissioning teams) performing testing and much more.

Youll specifically take care of defining verification methodologies and performing tests but also collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Well look to you for:

• Defining verification methodologies for selected deliverables as outlined in the V&V strategy
• Creating test plans and test descriptions for in-house activities
• Performing and reporting on allocated verification integration and test activities
• Collaborating with the Safety Assurance Manager to share and justify results for safety demonstrations
• Interfacing with experts across departments to align on V&V activity methodologies
• Specifying procuring developing setting up and configuring assets such as test benches and instrumentation
• Following up with Test & Commissioning teams for tests exported to site execution

• University degree in Engineering (Transportation Systems Electronics Telecommunications Software Engineering Computer Science or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge of railway signalling principles
• Good analytical skills
• Understanding and experience in software coding
• Proficiency in English (full professional proficiency)
• Basic knowledge of ITC hardware architectures (client/server workstation/Blade IP networking routing operating systems)
