The opportunity
Join our team working on Unity/ironSources iAds network ecosystem powering one of the most advanced ad-serving platforms in the industry. As a Senior Backend Developer you will design develop and maintain a high-performance real-time system that handles millions of requests per second.
Youll be expected to play a highly impactful role within the team leading critical projects and driving improvements to the scalability performance and reliability of the system. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions and influence the success of a globally recognized platform.

What youll be doing
- Design develop and monitor new features for the iAds ecosystem.
- Maintain and optimize the performance of the existing system.
- Refactor and improve legacy code to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Lead efforts to ensure the systems scalability reliability and low latency.
- Collaborate with peers to deliver high-quality production-ready solutions.
What were looking for
- Hands-on expertise with Scala/Java.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and real-time high-concurrency applications.
- Proficiency in Kafka and other streaming/messaging systems.
- Extensive experience debugging and optimizing high-scale production environments.
- Proven ability to design and build backend systems focused on performance and scalability.
You might also have
- Experience with Aerospike or similar NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of functional programming paradigms.
