Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. Core Requirements:
- Experience:
- Analyst:01.5 years in M&A investment banking (IBD) Big 4 TS or corporate finance (internships included).
- Associate:24 years in active deal roles (sell-side/buy-side valuation due diligence).
- Education:Outstanding academic record in finance economics or related fields (Masters/MBA preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced financial modeling (DCF LBO comparables).
- Fluency inGerman and English(written/spoken).
2. Preferred Backgrounds:
- Junior Candidates:Top-tier IBD analysts Big 4 TS or strategy consulting (M&A projects).
- Associates:M&A boutiques PE portfolio ops or corporate development teams.
- Sector Knowledge:Industrials TMT or healthcare is a plus.
3. Personality Fit:
- Entrepreneurial drive thrives in a boutique (no silos direct client contact).
- Team player collaborative adaptable and resilient under pressure.
- Commercial mindset curious about industries and deal dynamics.
Role Highlights:
Deal Flow:Work on 510 live transactions annually (mid-market to 500M).
Responsibilities:
- Create teasers CIMs and management presentations.
- Lead financial analysis modeling and due diligence.
- Interface with clients/investors alongside senior bankers.
