Job Description
Introduction
Summary Statement
This year-round Campground/Registrar position is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the campground revenue operations. Duties will include all aspects of customer service answering phones filling out deposit paperwork completing opening and closing procedures of the campground office camper registration and check-in database management and camp store operations. Work is performed indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions. Applicants must be available to work weekends evenings and holidays as scheduled
Essential Functions
Essential functions are fundamental core functions common to all position in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class. Since class specifications are descriptive and not restrictive incumbents can complete job duties of similar kind not specifically listed here.
Manages and oversees the Campground Store including but not limited to keeping an inventory ordering supplies and handling sales.
Coordinates with vendors staff and volunteers to meet the needs of campground residents.
Provides customer services by explaining regulations answering visitor requests needs and complaints and providing information about the park and surrounding areas.
Supervises and supports the campground registrar with Volunteer Coordinator to oversee Camp Hosts and makes sure they complete their daily tasks.
Updates the Park Manager and Maintenance Supervisor of any and all issues that occur in the campground.
Inspects campground sites and cabins routinely to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance and reports issues to Park Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
Must be able to demonstrate responsibility dependability and good communication skills.
Maintain a positive attitude.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Applicants must have education training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
year experience in interpreting rules regulations policies and procedures.
year experience in office operations and functions such as operating office machines handling incoming and outgoing mail postal and shipping services answering phones directing calls and taking messages; file maintenance; maintaining and updating supplies.
year experience in cash handling writing receipts.
year experience using Microsoft Office programs including Outlook Excel and Publisher.
months experience of supervising staff or volunteers.
of a valid drivers license (not suspended revoked or cancelled or disqualified from driving).

This is a Casual/Seasonal position which is a non-pension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.
