The Opportunity
We are an international team creating the Android Ecosystem for all our offers from our offices in both France Belgium and Poland. We aim to create an easy-to-use Android Ecosystem for our next-gen Android Terminals upon which any Worldline team can build to serve their own customers. Reliabilityopennessand ease of integration are our values. You will join a team of experts in payment who are pushing the limits to serve the customers of Worldline faster and better.
Your responsibilities
Architect and implement Android Applications and Cloud Services
Be a champion for best practices and industry standards on Android/Kotlin ecosystem.
Scope design implement and deploy robust solutions making appropriate tradeoffs between reliability throughput latency resiliency engineering velocity and cost
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance observability security and compliance across our infrastructure.
Uphold our high engineering standards and improve ourcodebaseand processes.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change step up and show whats next people with passion can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and practice this means:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or Information Systems.
At least 3 years of working experience in complex environments in a similar position with a consistenttrack record.
Previous experience with Kotlin programming language and exposure to Android ecosystem. Working knowledge on Jetpack & Compose libraries.
Architecture data synchronization background processing multi-threading and asynchronous programming in Android
Proficiency in REST JSON / WebSockets
Familiarity with WebRTC / Media projection
Solid experience with unit testing (Junit Espresso)
Reactive programming (e.g. RxJava Kotlin Coroutines)
Experience working in CI/CD environment (GitLab) Gradle build system and dependency management
Experience with performance optimization and memory management
- Nice to have: encryption and X.509 basics data AES DUKPT SHA
