Position Summary:
In January 2025 Rice Universitys Office of Academic Support for Undergraduate Students (OASUS) launched the pilot semester of the universitys first accommodated Testing Center. As part of our mission to increase access to academic support the Testing Center provides an equitable testing environment for students with accommodations and other accessibility challenges. We are currently seeking a Testing Center Manager to oversee the Centers operations and growth.
Reporting to the Director of the Office of Academic Support for Undergraduate Students which sits in the Division of the Provost the Testing Center Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the center communicate with faculty and students about Testing Center procedures supervise a staff of part-time student workers and manage reporting and assessment of the centers impact. This position also offers the exciting opportunity to play a key role in contributing to the vision that will shape the centers mission moving forward.

Workplace Requirements:
This position is primarily on-site but offers some flexibility for a partially hybrid role. During the semester and when the Testing Center is open the position is on-site necessitating all duties to be performed in person in the Fondren Library. During academic recesses this position will offer the opportunity for remote Rice policy 440work arrangements may be subject to change.
Hiring Range: $48700 - $52900
*Exempt (salaried) positions underFLSA are not eligible for overtime.
