Do you want to shape the delivery of Scotlands Census enabling governments and other public bodies to plan the services we all rely on and telling the story of Scotlands people for generations to come If so this post could be for you.
Scotlands Census is part of the Statistical Services business area of the National Records of Scotland (NRS).Planning for the next census in 2031 has begun and will build on the successes of the census in 2022. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Policy Manager to take forward the development and implementation of key census policies and associated legislation.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders including Ministers to provide high-quality policy advice while managing the census legislation process including impact addition you will oversee a team and ensure that all census-related products and strategies comply with legislation. Your role will offer significant exposure to senior leaders and the chance to contribute to an important public service that will have a lasting impact on Scotland and beyond.
