This position is placed at our office in Stockholm where we apply a hybrid work model with the opportunity to work from home. You will be reporting directly to Head of Finance.
Tasks
As our only Accountant youll play a key role in our Finance function including:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations for our three countries
- Accounts payable and receivable
- VAT employer taxes and other declarations
- Monthly closing and support with annual accounts
- Managing expense reports receipts and reimbursements
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborating with external partners like auditors or financial advisory firms
- Improving and automating financial processes and systems
- Taking on ad hoc tasks that come with working in a fast-paced startup
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting Finance or similar
- 4 years of experience in accounting preferably in a dynamic or startup environment
- Solid understanding of Swedish accounting standards and tax regulations
- Comfortable working with accounting software
- Structured self-driven and solution-oriented
- Eager to improve processes and take ownership
- Fluent in both Swedish and English
- Experience in payroll administration is a plus
