Job Summary:
Our client who is in the travel and tourism industry is seeking a Senior Travel Consultant to join their dynamic team. The Senior Travel Consultant will be responsible for managing complex travel arrangements for corporate clients ensuring efficient cost-effective and policy-compliant solutions. This includes handling ticketing reissuance refunds and itinerary planning across international and domestic routes. The ideal candidate is highly organized service-oriented fluent in GDS systems and capable of handling high-volume fast-paced demands with professionalism and accuracy.
Manage and execute end-to-end corporate travel bookings including flights accommodation ground transportation and visa support when required.
Use Galileo GDS efficiently for ticket issuance reissuance revalidation cancellations and refunds.
Offer accurate fare quotes and itinerary options aligned with company travel policies and client preferences.
Ensure all bookings are cost-effective compliant with travel policies and delivered within required timeframes.
Communicate proactively with clients to confirm bookings provide travel updates and resolve any changes or disruptions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international and domestic travel regulations including IATA standards and airline policies.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients by delivering outstanding customer service and tailored travel solutions.
Collaborate with internal finance and administrative teams for invoicing and documentation processes.
Stay informed about global travel trends GDS system updates and travel advisories.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Travel Consultant in a reputable travel agency.
Expert-level proficiency in Galileo GDS is essential.
Strong understanding of international and domestic airfare construction IATA rules and airline regulations.
Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook).
Strong attention to detail time management and organizational abilities.
Professional demeanour with a service-oriented attitude and a sense of urgency.
Full Time
