Job Description

This is a remote position.


Job Title: Customer Success Officer/Purchasing/Stock Control

Hours: Full time; 40 hours per week

Rate: $7 AUD/ hour

Industry: Sheet metal & roofing


Purpose:

Collaborating with other departments such as customer service sales team and operations team to ensure that purchasing requirements are met before the daily cut-off times and to replenish factory supplies upon request

Stock control & overseeing daily receipting of Purchase Orders

Customer service support with order entry and answering phone calls


Accountabilities:


1. Purchasing

Raising purchase orders in Odoo for customers orders.

Building a Supplier Database and negotiating the best buy price on bulk quantities and reviewing supplier performance.

Checking all details are correct on the supplier s order confirmation.

Maintaining the purchase price in Odoo by downloading product data from Odoo and updating the Purchase price in Microsoft Excel.

Expediating any urgent requirements by contacting the supplier via a phone call.


2. Stock Control

Work in conjunction with Store person to ensure PO receipting are completed by 3pm Daily.

Advise the customer service team straight away if there are any failures so that the end customer can be informed.

Maintain the ROP and MIN/MAX counts on all stocked items


3. Customer Service

Keying Sales Orders in Odoo.

Contacting Customer for extra information and for clarification on anything that isn t clear on the customer s order.

Taking phone calls whenever the overflow ring tone occurs.
