What you will be doing

As a Senior Consultant / Project Manager at Roland Berger and a key member of our esteemed and expanding Transaction & Investor Services team you will have the opportunity to take the lead on and manage a wide range of projects. The Transaction & Investor Services team significantly contributes to the success of Roland Bergers Amsterdam office. Our widespread recognition and extensive network are key factors in our success. You will have the potential to build a robust presence and reputation among the investor addition Roland Berger offers commercial flexibility allowing you to develop on your own perspectives and approaches.

You will work closely with Sameer Metha David van der Does and Paulo Salla serving a broad range of top-tier Dutch and European private equity and strategic clients. Together you will focus on topics that are shaping global discourse such as the energy transition mobility digitalization and innovative business models.

You will design and lead holistic commercial due diligence efforts in the context of M&A deals as well as develop value creation programs for portfolio companies. Your work will be grounded in deep analysis of markets and businesses close collaboration with industry and functional experts and a clear understanding of what drives value.

As a Senior Consultant / Project Manager at Roland Berger you will:

• Take the lead for modules in larger projects and complete project management of smaller projects (typically leading three to five consultants) with a specific focus on Transaction & Investor Services. 
• Coach and develop the consultants in your project teams. 
• Have direct client contact and lead presentations during client meetings. 
• Work closely with industry experts at Roland Berger. 
• Contribute to Roland Bergers knowledge development by capturing insights and drawing lessons from client work. 
• Participate in office-wide projects (e.g. in-depth studies on current topics) that further develop Roland Berger or its thinking in a specific area or sector.

Do you recognize yourself in the following qualifications competencies and skills

• You have completed an academic university education (i.e. WO). 
• You have between four and ten years of experience in strategy consulting with a distinct focus on the Transaction & Investor Services domain and having prior involvement with >15 commercial due diligence projects being highly advantageous.
• You have experience managing others and delegating work to more junior team members.  
• You are familiar with/experienced in (financial) modeling (Microsoft Excel) visualizing presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint) and storytelling. 
• You can think analytically and structure arguments clearly.
• You work with precision. 
• You are open-minded. 
• You have good oral written and presentation skills and an excellent command of English and Dutch.
