- Assigns orients trains and develops staff to positions based on department need. Covers callouts and vacancies for seamless operation of department. Communicates changes to other supervisors and managers.
- Ensures kitchen sanitation standards are maintained recipes and production sheets are followed and food and refrigerator temps are taken and recorded per departmental and regulatory agency policies and procedures.
- Delegates responsibilities monitors performance and holds employees accountable for maintaining departmental and regulatory agency standards (temps. portions accuracy presentation sanitation service etc.) in the kitchen and in dining rooms.
- Completes opening and closing checklists prepares residents meal tickets add-ins and discharges and monitors and holds employees accountable for timely and accurate delivery of meals via tray-line or dining room.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a dining supervisor in a Healthcare setting preferred
- High School Diploma or GED is required Classes in food service management preferred
