Job Description

Specialist shall be responsible for:

  1.  participation in the preparation and holding of special events held by Division or other competent structural divisions of the University as well as its subsidiaries;
  2. assistance with the Divisions budget request formation for the relevant financial year;
  3. safety of material assets entrusted to him/her in interaction with Security Service;
  4. monitoring of procurement contracts performance by suppliers;
  5. participation in drafting of information materials for the media reporting and analytical information;
  6. collaboration with partners and participants of special activities their accommodation and transportation organization;
  7. Divisions documents management;
  8. timely and quality execution of other tasks assigned by the Head of Division and the University management within his/her job duties and authorities.

 To fulfil the above responsibilities Specialist shall:

  1. strictly observe labor and performance discipline;
  2. duly and timely execute tasks assigned by the Head and the University management;
  3. observe the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and internal policies and procedures of the University;
  4. perform job duties in good faith;
  5. comply with the generally binding internal policies and procedures of the University;
  6. in case of dismissal or transfer to another position pass all paper and digital information to another person appointed by the Head under the Statement of Acceptance and submit the inventory assets to the accountable officers of the University.

Qualifications :

University degree preferably from universities with English language of instruction (Bachelors degree).

Priority majors: Event Management Public Relations and Advertising International Hospitality Business PR/Marketing Management.

Required professional experience:

- at least 1 year of relevant professional experience in civil service international and/or national companies if a candidate holds a Bachelors degree or Diploma;

- professional experience is not required subject to university degree from universities with English language of instruction.

- knowledge of the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on status of the Nazarbayev University Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools Nazarbayev Fund On Education and any other laws and regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan governing relations related to the position;

- presentation creating and making skills;

- analytical skills;

- document management skills;

- fluent Kazakh Russian English languages (knowledge of other languages is an advantage);

- knowledge of MS Office Excel PowerPoint.
