Job Description:
- Strong domain knowledge and thought leadership in retail & CPG consulting Retail Category Management.
- Drive deep analytical insights across Merchandising for Retail & CPG clients Price Promotion Product assortment Inventory and Planogram.
- Lead end-to-end merchandise planning including selection space assortment and stock strategies at store and enterprise levels.
- Drive category development and execution in collaboration with suppliers merchandising teams and planners
- Implement AI/ML-based item recommendation and demand forecasting systems for optimized ordering and inventory visibility
- Champion data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics frameworks across stock store performance and customer behavior
- Lead transformation programs to elevate in-store execution standards visual merchandising and category profitability
- Utilize planogramming and floor planning tools (Blue Yonder Nielsen Spaceman) to optimize space productivity extract insights for improved operational performance and customer engagement
- Build campaign execution frameworks across in-store and digital channels to align with merchandise and inventory plans
- Define SOPs for retail operations including planogram compliance store layout optimization inventory execution visual merchandising and promotions
- Drive store readiness for marketing campaigns and seasonal events
- Collaborate with supply chain and merchandising teams for optimal shelf availability and replenishment performance
- Build and manage campaign calendar across regions and ensure timely asset rollouts
- Lead optimization of marketing spend efficiency through ROI tracking and store-level impact analysis
- Define and track KPIs related to retail operations campaign success store-level performance and execution metrics (e.g. OSA planogram compliance footfall conversion)
- Build and manage a high-performing team spanning field ops marketing ops and analytics
- Develop talent through coaching structured training and succession planning
Must Have:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in retail operations trade/marketing operations or merchandising within large-scale multi-brand retailers or CPG companies
- Deep expertise in category management assortment optimization space planning and inventory forecasting
- Strong familiarity with Blue Yonder suite Nielsen Spaceman SQL and basic proficiency in Power BI Python
- Strong analytical acumen with experience in KPIs operational metrics and performance dashboards
- Excellent communication program management and stakeholder alignment capabilities
- Strong business acumen and ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
Qualifications :
