Job Description:
- Own and drive large-scale data engineering programs end-to-end from requirements to delivery.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders including client technology and business teams to define program goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Architect scalable robust and secure data solutions leveraging modern data platforms (cloud on-prem hybrid).Lead cross-functional teams comprising data engineers architects analysts and project managers.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in data architecture ETL/ELT development data quality and data governance.
- Oversee budgeting resource planning delivery timelines and program KPIs.
- Proactively identify risks dependencies and blockers; provide timely resolutions
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation automation and adoption of modern tech stacks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients translating business needs into actionable technical solutions.
Must Have:
- 12 years of experience in Data Engineering with at least 35 years in program or delivery leadership roles.
- Certified expertise in cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS Redshift Azure Data Lake GCP BigQuery Snowflake).
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools data pipelines and data warehousing (e.g. Apache Airflow DBT Informatica Talend).
- Proficiency in data modeling SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.
- Deep understanding of data architecture patterns including batch and streaming pipelines.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar programs with global delivery teams.
- Strong program/project management skills Agile Scrum or PMP certification is a plus.
- Exceptional client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in analytics platforms or tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Looker).
- Experience in managing offshore/onshore teams
- Prior consulting experience with Fortune 500 clients.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices in the data environment
Qualifications :
Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field12 years of hands-on experience
