YMCA Reading Buddies Project Test Administrator Description
Intended Start Date: August 11 2025
Training for Assessments: August 12 2025; Location TBD
Follow Up Testing Begins: August 18 2025
Follow Up Testing Ends: August 31 2025
Description: Student testers needed for an After School Reading Intervention Project. Seeking applicants to fill a temporary position for assessment administrators on a study for first second and third grade students attending after school programs in Metro Nashville Public Schools.
Responsibilities:The test administration position includes administering a series of reading vocabulary and language assessment measures at participating YMCA FUN Co Programs (in MNPS school buildings). Training will be provided.
Hours will include approximately 10-15 hrs/week for approximately 3 weeks starting in the middle of August and ending August 31 2025. Availability should include weekday afternoons between 2:30pm 6:00pm. Pay is $20/hr.
Experience with field-based educational research with elementary children is especially desirable but not required. Candidates must have passed mandatory background checks and fingerprinting for the academic year 2025-2026. Transportation IS NECESSARY with travel reimbursement (excluding ridesharing).
