We have been lighting the path forward into recovery by providing person-centered services to adults and children who meet the treatment criteria for substance use disorders developmental disabilities and/or mental health.
We are looking for a Professional Counselor to provide clinical assessment and treatment of clients with various mental health diagnoses substance use disorders medication-assisted treatment and high-risk patients in crisis. The clinician completes comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments treatment plans screenings and treatment via individual/family/group therapy as well as discharge plans for patients and families as needed. The clinician works on an interdisciplinary treatment team in order to provide comprehensive care as well as continuity of care and will prepare and send progress reports to the appropriate social service agencies and referral sources as required. The clinician may also assist in the acquisition of appropriate resources as needed. The clinician may also collect routine urine drug samples for labs and rapid assessment if required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) or a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT) plus two years of counseling experience.
