Summary:
This position will report to the University Attorney. As the Institutional Compliance and Title IX Coordinator this position will provide staff faculty and students with an understanding of expected compliances to all policies and procedures as outlined by the university and the local state and federal government. This position will be responsible for developing and conducting training programs in consultation with HR for employees and Student Affairs for students. . In addition this position will work with leadership human resources and internal and external legal affairs to develop publish and maintain effective policies and accessible grievance procedures that provide prompt and impartial resolutions to complaints. This position will make critical decisions based on policies being implemented by government agencies and how the university needs to implement them.
As the Title IX Coordinator this position is an essential role in helping to ensure that every person affected by the operations of Methodist University is aware of the legal rights Title IX affords and that Methodist University and its officials comply with their legal obligations under Title IX and applicable regulations.
Position will be responsible for providing leadership and direction. Responsibilities may include administering policies and procedures conducting Title IX investigations preparing documentation and performing data analysis; creating and facilitating training for faculty staff and students; researching tracking and implementing proposed and enacted federal state and local legislation.
Essential Job Duties:
Provide administrative oversight including responsibility for planning assessment committee assignments and annual reporting for institutional compliance and Title IX.

Minimum Education and/or Training and Experience:
Bachelors degree in a related field. Four years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience with federal state and/or institutional compliance.
