About the Client
Our client a leading real estate company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials services and equipment essential to property development and business operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely cost-effective and compliant procurement while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Source negotiate and purchase materials equipment and services required for property development and office operations.
- Prepare and process purchase orders requisitions and tender documents in line with company procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Track deliveries and ensure that purchased items meet the specified quality and quantity.
- Maintain accurate procurement records including price lists supplier details and delivery timelines.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control through market research and price benchmarking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in procurement processes.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly and maintain an updated supplier database.
- Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Procurement Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- A professional certification such as CIPS or KISM is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in procurement preferably within real estate construction or a fast-paced service industry.
- Solid understanding of procurement regulations contract management and supplier negotiation.
- Proficient in MS Office and procurement software/tools.
- Strong organizational communication and negotiation skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
