Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Vale of Glamorgan to assist with the appointment of a Neighbourhood Assistant on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 12.21 - 15.48 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a customer-focused housing management service to individuals families and communities.
- Support tenants in managing their tenancies through early intervention partnership work and signposting.
- Undertake regular estate inspections and liaise with departments/agencies to address estate-related issues.
- Conduct property inspections and viewings for end of tenancy garage allocations assisted lettings and periodic tenancy reviews.
- Assist the Neighbourhood Manager to ensure compliance with policies legislation and standards.
Requirements:

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams

Knowledge of housing legislation and safeguarding responsibilities (desirable)

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
