Job Description

Renewable Energy Project Engineer Thermal & Utility-Scale Systems

Location: Madrid Spain- Hybrid

The Role

  • Drive technical development of thermal solar and hybrid renewable energy projects
  • Support the configuration and integration of thermal energy storage solar thermal collectors and heat exchange systems
  • Perform feasibility studies and technical due diligence for large-scale solar and hybrid installations
  • Develop technical documentation (specs reports risk assessments) for vendor engagement and stakeholder updates
  • Liaise with supply chain and subcontractors for procurement QA/QC and vendor management
  • Contribute to the preparation of client proposals and presentations for energy infrastructure bids
  • Represent the company at industry events technical workshops and pre-bid meetings

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering Renewable Energy or equivalent technical field
  • 5 years of experience in utility-scale renewables or thermal energy systems
  • Strong technical reporting and stakeholder communication skills
  • Availability for occasional international travel
