Job Description
Renewable Energy Project Engineer Thermal & Utility-Scale Systems
Location: Madrid Spain- Hybrid
The Role
- Drive technical development of thermal solar and hybrid renewable energy projects
- Support the configuration and integration of thermal energy storage solar thermal collectors and heat exchange systems
- Perform feasibility studies and technical due diligence for large-scale solar and hybrid installations
- Develop technical documentation (specs reports risk assessments) for vendor engagement and stakeholder updates
- Liaise with supply chain and subcontractors for procurement QA/QC and vendor management
- Contribute to the preparation of client proposals and presentations for energy infrastructure bids
- Represent the company at industry events technical workshops and pre-bid meetings
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering Renewable Energy or equivalent technical field
- 5 years of experience in utility-scale renewables or thermal energy systems
- Strong technical reporting and stakeholder communication skills
- Availability for occasional international travel
