Skills and Competencies
- 35 years of experience in client-facing roles ideally within the data or SaaS industries.
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage complex sales cycles.
- Strong presentation skills capable of delivering both high-level overviews and detailed product demonstrations.
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative approach.
- Fluent in English and either French or Dutch (fluency in both is a strong plus).
- Willingness to travel up to 50% including international travel within Belgium the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Education
- Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g. Bachelors degree) preferably in business economics or IT.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand Moodys presence among Government and Public Entities in the Benelux region.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach (including cold calls/emails and campaigns) to closing and onboarding.
- Represent Moodys as a trusted advisor to institutional clients and prospects.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and Solution Specialists to ensure a unified market approach.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and pipeline data.
- Participate in regular travel across the region to engage clients in face-to-face meetings.
