Accents & Interiors a locally owned interior finish company is hiring an Entry-Level Flooring Installation Inspector to join our fast-growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into the construction or interior trades without prior experience.
JOB SUMMARY
The Flooring Field Technician - Entry Level is a field position having contact with builders and homeowners. Duties will include small repairs inspections flooring finish work and window coverings installations.
Our ideal candidate would be detail oriented self-sufficient and able to work with a sense of urgency while remaining positive and maintaining accuracy through daily processes. This is a hands-on position but will require basic technology skills using email online calendars basic phones apps etc.
What Youll Do:
- Start your day at our office to review your route and gather supplies
- Travel to construction sites using a company-provided vehicle
- Perform pre-installation inspections (check readiness: cabinets installed space cleared correct conditions)
- Perform post-installation checks (verify work was completed correctly and to standard)
- Report findings using mobile or tablet apps

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

What Were Looking For:
- At least 1 year experience in a fast paced deadline driven environment
- Comfortable working with standard hand tools including a tape measure
- Confident working with mobile apps and email platforms
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
- Mathematical skills
- Physically able to lift 50lbs. and comfortable climbing ladders
- Problem solving mindset and Proactive thinker
- Ability to focus on tasks within a fast-paced environment
- Communicates clearly and professionally both verbally and written with all internal teams and customers
- Coachable and self-motivated
Must Have:
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
