As a Remote Integration Platform Engineer you will design build and manage robust integrations that connect systems data sources and applications across a complex enterprise ecosystem. Youll be responsible for maintaining scalable and secure integration platforms (e.g. MuleSoft Boomi Workato SnapLogic or custom APIs) and ensuring data flows efficiently between internal and external systems.
This role requires deep technical skills strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration with business infrastructure security and development teams. You will play a key part in building the backbone of digital transformation and real-time connectivity across business-critical systems.
Responsibilities:
Design implement and maintain integrations across SaaS platforms legacy systems databases APIs and cloud environments
Develop and manage integration workflows using iPaaS tools (e.g. MuleSoft Boomi SnapLogic Workato) or custom code
Monitor integration performance perform root cause analysis and resolve issues in real time
Collaborate with software engineering and DevOps teams to deploy and manage integrations in CI/CD pipelines
Implement data mapping transformation logic error handling retries and logging mechanisms
Ensure integration solutions are secure scalable and compliant with organizational and regulatory policies
Document integration designs best practices and operational procedures
Participate in technical reviews capacity planning and architecture design
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
2 years of experience in systems integration middleware or iPaaS development
Proficiency in one or more integration platforms (e.g. MuleSoft Boomi Workato SnapLogic Azure Logic Apps)
Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs webhooks authentication protocols (OAuth2 SAML JWT)
Experience with JSON XML and data transformation techniques
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS Azure or GCP) and containerized deployments (Docker Kubernetes)
