Consulting Engineers based in Alberta and we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Project Manager) to join their exceptional team and work for one of the leading buildings practices in Western Canada.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of electrical engineering services from concept through construction. This is a client facing role where leadership technical expertise and attention to detail converge.
As a key member of our project delivery team you will manage multiple projects concurrently working closely with architects developers owners and multidisciplinary teams to ensure electrical systems are designed to meet performance budget and schedule objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning coordination and execution of electrical engineering design for new construction and major renovation projects.
Oversee all phases of project delivery from conceptual design and feasibility through construction documents tendering and site review.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring alignment on scope schedule budget and quality.
Manage internal design teams and external consultants allocating resources and monitoring performance.
Review and stamp electrical drawings specifications and calculations in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
Participate in value engineering energy-efficiency planning and risk assessments.
Conduct site reviews respond to RFIs and manage change orders during construction.
Mentor junior engineers and designers fostering a culture of technical growth and quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (.) in Alberta or eligibility for licensure.
5-15 years of progressive experience in electrical consulting with demonstrated project management experience.
Proven track record delivering building electrical systems (lighting power fire alarm life safety security and communication systems).
Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code building codes and relevant industry standards.
Exceptional communication leadership and organizational skills.
Proficient in design software (AutoCAD Revit Etap Dialux Bluebeam etc.).

Electrical Designer Building Services (Hybrid) Location: Hybrid GTA Industry: Engineering Contact: Bob Bracalenti, Vice President Design, Construction & Development Email: Our client, a leading national multi-discipline engineering firm, is seeking an experienced and passionate Electrical Designer to join their dynamic Building Services team. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility, career growth, and the opportunity to work on high-impact projects across Canada. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings. Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit. Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
