SUMMARY:This position is responsible for the management and oversight of the building-based student special education eligibility process.

EssentialJobDuties and Responsibilities (Not Limited To):
Facilitate Individual Education Programs (IEP) meetings
Manage procedure/timeline compliance
Support and provide information to families
Schedule meetings
Provide building-based staff professional development
Plan weekly building based special education team meeting
Collaborate with sending and receiving IEP team for transition pre-K/K and 5 th /6th
Attend Directors meetings
Attend monthly special education staff meeting
Coordinate IEP writing with providers Read and Sign IEPs
Conduct student evaluations as needed
Provide guidance in regulation compliance and services to staff
