Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Mandeville LA (On-site)
Experience Level: Mid-Senior
Employment Type: Full-Time
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee Industrial Ventilation and Pneumatic Conveying projects. This role is ideal for a professional with strong technical expertise proven project management experience and hands-on familiarity with CAD tools and fluid/air flow systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans providing regular progress updates to management.
- Coordinate installation and shipping schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
- Review and approve CAD drawing layouts and order components based on customer-approved designs.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings site inspections and monitor installation crews for quality and interference issues.
- Oversee equipment startups verify airflow readings and provide operator training to customers.
- Collaborate effectively with foremen customers OEM partners and senior leadership to ensure seamless project execution.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing Industrial Ventilation and/or Pneumatic Conveying projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Vault Inventor Revit and Microsoft Excel/Word.
- Strong understanding of fluid power and/or air flow dynamics.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.
- Hands-on experience with CAD design reviews pricing and ordering components.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Availability to address project-related needs outside standard working hours including weekends when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A technical degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology.
- Experience with additional project management tools.
Work Hours & Travel:
- Standard hours: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (must be accessible outside standard hours as needed).
- Travel required for site meetings inspections and equipment startups.
