JOB TITLE: Cards Portfolio Manager

REPORTS TO: Head of Cards Portfolio
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 5 years in card portfolio management lifecycle marketing or customer engagement roles within the banking or financial services sector.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS**:
- Proven experience in card portfolio performance analysis
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing (Cards)
- Immediately available
- English and Arabic is preferred
- Proficiency in SQL Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI)
PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
To enhance customer acquisition engagement and retention through targeted data-informed lifecycle marketing strategies that optimize card portfolio performance and align with business objectives.
Key Activities
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Analyze debit and credit card portfolio performance across acquisition activation usage and retention metrics.
- Identify and recommend targeted campaigns to drive spend reduce attrition and increase customer engagement.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to design and launch lifecycle campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to inform strategy.
- Prepare and present regular portfolio performance reports to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal risk policies.
- Develop and execute multi-channel lifecycle marketing campaigns (email mobile digital direct mail).
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product Risk Compliance Legal) to ensure campaign alignment and governance.
- Continuously test measure and optimize campaign effectiveness using A/B testing and performance analytics.

- Increase in card activation and usage rates
- Reduction in customer attrition
- Campaign ROI and conversion rates
- Customer engagement metrics (e.g. open/click rates spend lift)
- Compliance and audit adherence
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Economics or related field
- Experience in financial services preferably in cards or payments
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills using data
- Understanding of customer segmentation and personalization strategies
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Adobe Campaign)
