Northview Public Schools Grand Rapids MI
Northview Public Schools is a nationally recognized district located in Grand Rapids Michigan known for the excellence of its academic programs the strength of its staff and the success of its students. We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our Food Service Department.

2.75-Hour Server
10:15 AM 1:00 PM
Crossroads Middle
4-Hour Position
9:00 AM 1:00 PM
North Elementary
4-Hour Position
9:15 AM 1:15 PM
About the Role
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting student health and learning through quality food service. Team members must demonstrate integrity accountability and a commitment to providing excellent service in a school environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- A role model who demonstrates respect for the job and the school community
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to make decisions in compliance with State and USDA regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with County Health Department regulations
- Proficiency in food preparation service and cleanup duties
- Ability to operate a computerized cash register handle money and make accurate change
- Basic computer skills including Google Docs Google Sheets Excel and Word
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy boxes
- Willingness to support team efforts and assist where needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director
