Job Description Summary

The Wellbeing Coordinator - Collective Impact and Signature Events is responsible for supporting the Wake Forest University Office of Wellbeings vision and priorities in making wellbeing a part of every experience for students faculty and staff. The Wellbeing Coordinators primary responsibility is supporting the multiple Collective Impact Coalitions supported by the Health and Wellbeing Unit and signature events of the Office of Wellbeing.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Supports logistics for each coalition (7-10 unique coalitions) and any higher body reporting structures including scheduling communications and event planning.

  • Supports data collection and synthesization within and across coalitions.

  • Iterative improvement of processes and procedures related to operations.

  • Maintains multiple systems used to schedule and communicate with co-chairs and coalition members.

  • Supports signature events for the Office of Wellbeing health education and prevention portfolios across Substance Use Interpersonal Violence Mental Health and Sexual Health.

  • Supports an external communication plan for the Office of Wellbeing to sufficiently communicate coalition and signature events including but not limited to creating and distributing marketing materials and web presence including external-facing systems and social media.

  • Works collaboratively within a team setting.

  • Supports the Office of Wellbeing administration and operations.

  • Represents the Office of Wellbeing in community presentations and events.

Required Education Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Bachelors Degree.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and time management skills.

  • Ability to organize workflow and coordinate activities.

  • Ability to maintain effective customer relations.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative work and think independently and contribute to a team-oriented work environment

  • Ability to advocate for and work effectively with a diverse student population faculty staff and administrators.

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of client information.

Preferred Education Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Bachelors Degree in human services field and/or equivalent related experience.

Accountabilities:

  • Supervise student and graduate staff including hiring scheduling reviewing performance and recommendations for salary increases or terminations.

  • Works with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

  • Communication with others to exchange information.

  • Repeated motions that may include wrists hands and/or fingers.

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

  • Occasionally requires moving items up to 20 pounds.

Environmental Conditions:

  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.
